When we set out to revive APALIE, one of our goals was not simply to bring our legal community back together, but to do something meaningful for the community we serve.

We wanted APALIE to be an organization that builds connections among AAPI attorneys and judges while also using our collective time, talents, and resources to make a real difference here in the Inland Empire. With that goal in mind, we are excited to announce that the proceeds from our upcoming Mahjong Casino Night will benefit two incredible local organizations: Camp del Corazon and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Redlands-Riverside.

Dress Code: Formal - Please feel free to wear a CheongSam to embrace our 1920s-inspired Mahjong Casino Night theme!

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Redlands-Riverside provides critical support to children and families right here in our own community. Their programs give local youth a safe place to learn, grow, build relationships, and develop the skills they need to succeed. Their work goes beyond after-school care. They provide educational opportunities, mentorship, character development, and support for families who may otherwise struggle to access these resources.

Camp del Corazon provides a life-changing summer camp experience for children with heart disease. The organization gives children the opportunity to simply be kids! To make friends, try new things, and experience the adventure of summer camp in a safe and supportive environment. For many of these children, their medical condition can make them feel different or limit the experiences they can participate in. Camp del Corazon helps break down those barriers and creates a place where children can build confidence, independence, and lasting friendships.

Our goal is to raise funds for The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Redlands-Riverside's holiday food drive, held around Thanksgiving; and funds to send more children from Loma Linda's Children's Hospital's Heart Program to Camp Del Corazon.
